Walmart first opened its doors in 1962, this year they have had $405 billion in sales. Walmart usually has its Black Friday Sale the day after Thanksgiving. This year stores are fighting to have the sales before all the others. So check back for Black Friday deals from Walmart!

Retailers are hoping that, after a disastrous 2008, sales would at least pick-up in 2009, although this not certain at all. The halting economic recovery and the millions of Americans that are unemployed are a potent combination for a slow holiday season, although retailers are expecting a bounce in Black Friday’s sales.
